This module introduces you to the deeper roots of yoga — beyond the physical postures.
Through a series of carefully structured classes, you'll explore the core texts, frameworks, and philosophies that define authentic Hatha Yoga, including the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Bhagavad Gita, Samkhya philosophy, Vedanta, and more.
You’ll learn about the Four Paths of Yoga, the Eight Limbs (Ashtanga Yoga) with a focus on Yamas and Niyamas, as well as key concepts like the Koshas, Gunas, Prana Vayus, Chakras, Nadis, Karma Yoga, Mudra, Bandha, and Kundalini.
Taught by Ajay Acharya, a traditional teacher based in Rishikesh, this module is designed to help you live yoga off the mat — integrating its wisdom into your daily life and teaching with authenticity and purpose.
This module offers a practical and accessible understanding of the body from both anatomical and energetic perspectives, specifically tailored for yoga practitioners and teachers.
You’ll learn the key systems that support your practice — including joints, spine, muscles, fascia, breath mechanics, and the nervous system — and how to apply this knowledge safely and effectively in your teaching and personal sadhana.
We’ll also explore the connection between anatomy and energy, including the chakras, glands, and breath physiology, so you can guide students with clarity, precision, and respect for individual bodies.
By the end of this module, you’ll have a stronger foundation in the “why” behind the poses, helping you teach and practice with more confidence, sensitivity, and intelligence.
In this module, you’ll explore the science and spiritual depth of prāṇāyāma — the yogic art of breath expansion and energy regulation.
You’ll learn the theory behind breath and its role in physical, mental, and energetic transformation, including the relationship between prāṇa, the nervous system, and emotional balance.
The practices taught include foundational techniques like Full Yogic Breath, Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, and cooling breaths (Sheetali & Sheetkari) — along with subtle energy techniques such as Bandhas and preparatory kriyas.
Step by step, you’ll be guided through safe and progressive practices — designed to deepen your inner awareness, build vitality, and support your teaching foundation.
This module introduces the foundations of meditation in the yogic tradition. You’ll learn how meditation purifies the mind, supports emotional balance, and builds inner discipline.

How to build a consistent daily practice
Key techniques like Vipassana and Yoga Nidra
Designed to help you integrate mindfulness into your life and teaching.
